Salon Policies
Before booking your appointment, please note:
We require a credit card on file in addition to a deposit to reserve all appointments- including consultations.
For all new clients, an initial consultation is required and must be booked and conducted either in person or via video call.
Email or text consultations are reserved for brief inquiries only. If additional time, details, or planning are needed, an official consultation appointment will be scheduled to ensure a personalized and accurate service plan.
Consultations must be paid in full upon booking and do not go toward the cost of a future service, as they are considered their own service.
We kindly request at least 48 hours’ notice if you need to cancel, reschedule, or make adjustments to any existing appointments.
*By placing your card on file and proceeding with booking, you acknowledge and agree to our cancellation policy, which requires a minimum of 48 hours’ notice for cancellations, reschedules, or any changes to your appointment.
Cancellations or reschedules within 48 hours of your appointment will result in a charge of 50% of the remaining balance for the reserved service time.
Same-day cancellations or no-call/no-shows will be charged 100% of the remaining balance for the time lost.
*If the card on file fails to process for any applicable fees or remaining balances, the outstanding balance must be paid in full before any future appointments can be booked.
Each deposit allows for one complimentary reschedule. Any additional reschedules will require a new deposit to secure your appointment.
This policy ensures fair consideration for our stylists’ time and allows us to better accommodate clients on our waiting list. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation. Please don’t hesitate to reach out with any questions or concerns — thank you for choosing J’Amour Beauty.
Extension Consultations
Clients seeking extensions are required to schedule an in-person consultation.
During this consultation, we will review all extension methods offered, determine which best fits your hair needs and lifestyle, answer any questions you may have, and discuss both the initial investment and maintenance requirements.
If you choose to move forward, a non-refundable deposit will be taken during the consultation or upon invoice to reserve your install appointment.
Quotes are valid for three weeks after the consultation.
Tardiness
We understand that unforeseen circumstances may cause delays. If you are running late for your appointment, please notify us as soon as possible.
We will do our best to accommodate you; however, if you are more than 15 minutes late, it may shorten your service time or result in rescheduling.
If rescheduling is required due to excessive tardiness (15 minutes or more), a 50% rebooking fee will apply.
After-Hours Appointments
If you wish to schedule an appointment outside of our regular work days/hours, a service upcharge will be applied to accommodate your request.
Service Satisfaction
While we do not offer refunds on services already rendered, we are committed to ensuring your satisfaction.
If you have concerns, please notify us within 7 days of your appointment, and we’ll work towards making adjustments aligned with your initial service request.
